World Travel & Personal Journeys: An Artist's Year

Grab your passport and travel the world with artist Susan Klinger in  her year long odyssey in pursuit of artistic inspiration and personal evolution.

Working in soft pastel on sanded paper, Susan renders a variety of subjects encountered on her journeys through Portugal, England, Greece, Mexico and the Caribbean. Along the way, she finds a new voice in her art through increasingly complex compositional and technical challenges and in her personal story following the loss of her husband.

This series provides a unique view of travel through the eyes of this award-winning artist.

What follows is the culmination of a year of travel, along with a year of artistic production. The full series will be premiered in a solo exhibition at Regina Marie Designs Gallery of Fine Art & Craft in Skippack, PA on November 10th - 12th.  There is also a 2024 calendar featuring all 13 paintings that may be ordered by contacting the artist here.
